Here it is September again. Time sure flies by when you are busy doing other things! Getting ready for another round of touring this beautiful country of ours. Tour starts Oct 8th at the Ironwood in Calgary, which is one of my favorite places to play. I’ll be sharing the stage with Saskatoon’s Young Benjamins for a handful of shows and we’ll have a few guests and some local support here and there! Check out the Tour Dates link for all the details. I’ve been working on some new tunes generated by the inspiration provided by this lifestyle. I had a great tour in May with Castle River, so much so that I wish I could keep them forever! But, they are destined for their own greatness and must chase that dream. They’ll be at Breakout West and CMJ this year. I feel very fortunate to have gotten to spend time with them making awesome music. Check them out if you get a chance. I’ll be hitting the studio with them to capture the magic that we created on a new song that I wrote. If you were at the Gateway Festival then you probably heard us play it. More on that to come. What an amazing summer we had as well. All the wonderful festivals and shows that we got to play and bands that we got to share the stage with. So many new friends! Well, time to go do a little house cleaning and organizing. You sure learn quickly how much stuff you have and how much stuff you don’t need when you’re living out of a suitcase. Talk soon!
